What do we really know?

Who would have guessed?

No matter how much knowledge we acquire and how many discoveries we make, humanity will know only what God has chosen to reveal!

  1. “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.”
    ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:7-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I don’t think this is exactly the scriptures that I’m thinking about. But they’re pretty close.

    1. Amazing, John. Amazing. I was writing a poem at first, and a verse of it made reference to this portion of scripture, so once again, the Spirit is one. I didn’t finish it and decided to go with this quote instead, but I’ll take your comment as the leading to finish that poem. The title was ‘Who would have guessed’.

    1. Good morning to you, dear Julie. Thanks for stopping by as always. I’ve heard a quote like that before, and now you have mentioned it, I must give it a thought to understand what it really means. What did you get from they quote you stumbled upon?

  2. Good morning, this is what hit me with that quote: there is a difference between knowing God in a personal relationship and trying to understand His ways. While on earth, our hearts shall seek Him, who He is. The rest may come clear in eternity, but we will not know until then. Be blessed today, sister.
