Pornography can stop your growth in Christ, but so can watching clean movies for 15 hours in a day.
Laziness can stop your growth in Christ, but so can working 20 hours every day.
Procrastination can stop your growth in Christ, but so can prioritizing the wrong things.
Enemies can hinder your growth in Christ, but so can hanging around the wrong friends.
Hate can hinder your growth in Christ, but so can your love for the wrong things.
Sin can hinder your growth in Christ, but so can living by your own righteousness.
Your growth in Christ can be stunted by lack of prayers, but so can praying selfish prayers.
Your growth in Christ can be stunted by not reading the Bible, but so can reading only portions that judge others and excuse your sin.
Anything can stop you from growing in Christ, you just have to let it take His place!!!
You are so right! Great comparisons and conclusions. We must look first to Him.
Matthew 6.33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Good points, I agree. Idolatry can take many forms. It can be even good things if those things take Jesus’ place in our hearts, or if they take priority over following our Lord in obedience. He has to be first place. I agree. Thanks, Tosin. This really made me think.
