20 Years and a Legacy

It seems like no matter how hard I try to keep up with my writing on Alethea’s Mind, there still come moments of silence. These moments are not bad in themselves as I spend them on other assignments, but I’m grateful that I can always come back here and feel like I never left (WP hasn’t logged me out and thrown away the password yet).

I’m still in . . .

In the past few months running up to Father’s Day, I embarked on a very big project that changed my life. Towards the end of last year, I felt the Lord leading me to compile stories about my dad and publish them in a book. So I reached out to people who knew him and who had encounters with him over the course of the 49 years of his life on earth. Soon enough, stories after stories began to pour in, and as I read every one them, one thing stood out for me: MY DAD LIVED FOR JESUS.

Sam’s Stories: When God Transforms a Man

17th of June 2022, two days before Father’s Day, marked 20 years since my dad went to be with the Lord. I was able to celebrate the legacy he left behind by presenting the book, together with my mum and brothers. It was an emotive time for us, but it had been years since we all gathered together in one place as a family, so we made the most of it. One of the things I got the opportunity to do was record some songs with my brothers and I can’t wait to share all the songs we did together. During the recording session, there was a moment of spontaneous worship which I’m beyond blessed and privileged to share with you:

‘E Korin’ means ‘Let’s Sing’ in the Yoruba Language

If you have read a number of my posts, you might have read about how much impact my dad’s life had on mine. So it is such a blessing to know that my children will be able to read about him and be transformed by the God who transformed him. I’m very happy to share the book with everyone, and I pray that your life is challenged by every word on every page.

If you are interested in a copy of the book SAM’S STORIES: WHEN GOD TRANSFORMS A MAN, you can order a copy from Amazon below:

God bless everyone who has encouraged me through the years. Great stories will be told of your life too!
