I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
    where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.

  1. Oh, Tosin! You really do have a way with words! I don’t want any sour cream with my apple pie, either. 😂 Your style speaks to our hearts because, I think, that’s where your words reside, and you are so honest with us.
    This: “no one will ever run with zeal carrying a torch they were never meant to bear. ” Yes, yes, yes! God will not provide resources for that to which He does not call us. We will simply wear ourselves out trying to accomplish someone else’s work.
    As I read your mountain symbolisms, my thoughts ran to a book I think you’d enjoy immensely. Its deep spiritual truths impacted me. ‘Hind’s Feet on High Places’ by Hannah Hurnard.

    1. Thank you, dear big sister of mine. The taste of sour cream on apple pie will be ‘yuck’ 😝😝😝🤪🤪😂. I give God the glory for the gift of writing that He has graciously given me, and the gift of people like to who appreciate the gift. God bless you 🥰🥰🥰
